Authorities say a Pembroke man, already in jail for violating an emergency protection order, is facing additional charges after he was served a warrant Tuesday for stalking and violating another emergency protection order. 52-year old Kenneth Watts was served the warrant Tuesday afternoon by the Christian County Sheriff’s Office on charges of 1st Degree Stalking and Violation of an EPO/DVO.
According to the warrant, Watts violated the EPO and stalked the female victim on September 27 when he was standing beside the neighbor’s garage next to her residence and peeping around the corner watching her when she arrived home that evening. When the female got out of the car, Watts reportedly jumped back behind the building and then left in his trucks moments after she went into her residence. The victim called the police to report the incident and Watts was arrested the next day on a previously issued warrant for violating the protective order on two prior occasions.
