Kentucky Speaker Pro Tempore David Osborne congratulated Representative Kenny Imes on his years of service in the State Legislature Tuesday.
Imes resigned from the 5th District State Representative seat Monday after Governor Matt Bevin appointed him to fill the remainder of the Calloway County Judge-Executive seat after the former Judge-Executive retired September 30th.
In a release, Osborne says Imes is the epitome of what you want a state lawmaker to be, and that he will be missed in Frankfort.
Imes served as a state representative twice, once from 1972 to 1979, and again from 2013 to 2018.
