The fire Tuesday morning at a Greenville Road apartment complex has claimed a second life. Kentucky State Police reports 22-year old Andra Pool succumbed to her injuries around 3:00 Thursday afternoon.
Pool was flown to Vanderbilt early Tuesday morning after she and 25-year-old David Michael Keys were pulled from apartment G7 at Woodland Heights. Keys was pronounced dead at the scene, with Pool flown to Vanderbilt.
The Highland Fire Department and other emergency officials responded to the fire shortly after 2:15 Tuesday morning and found the apartment filled with thick smoke.
State Police Arson Investigator Scott Steward determined the fire started in the apartment around the stove.
