The area is welcoming some warmer temperatures and looking at melting snow. Weather Edge Forecaster David Powell says it looks like the area is now ready for the January thaw.
Powell says there is a possibility of some heavy rain heading our way for the first of next week, and that could bring some water problems.
Powell says winter is not over. He says there is more winter weather heading our way for the middle of February.
