A Hopkinsville man and woman were charged with drug possession after a report of a disturbance on Winners Way on Monday afternoon.
Oak Grove Police say they were called for 44-year-old Clayton Jessup and 40-year-old Kristen Boxley, who were arguing in the parking lot and tossing Items out of a vehicle.
While talking with them, Police say they could see a crystal substance believed to be meth on the center console. After a search, the substance was reportedly collected along with drug paraphernalia and several open alcoholic beverage containers.
Police say neither of them would take ownership of the Items in the vehicle, Boxley also stated it wasn’t her vehicle.
They were both arrested and charged with possession of meth and possession of an open alcohol beverage container in a motor vehicle.
