The Hoptown Hoppers honored the late Ann Isom at Wednesday’s game with a Pink Out, remembering her strength, passion, and dedication that left a lasting impact on our community.
Ann, who passed away in February, was a two-time breast cancer survivor and courageously faced every challenge with grace and determination while becoming a passionate advocate for awareness and support through her involvement with the Pink Ribbon Network, a local breast cancer support group.
Her efforts helped grow the organization’s reach and touch countless lives throughout our region. Beyond her advocacy, Ann had a deep love for baseball and all sports. She cherished every opportunity to watch her children and grandchildren play.
Her legacy, resilience, service, and love for family will continue to inspire all who knew her.
Kathy Anderson and Lisa Cunningham founded the Pink Ribbon Network in 2006, and Ann joined after being diagnosed. The group was founded to offer strength, support, love, encouragement, and hope for those dealing with that diagnosis.
Donations were taken at Wednesday’s games for the Pink Ribbon Network, and Ann’s grandchildren threw out the first pitch.
