A man who died while in jail on Monday night is being sent for an autopsy.
According to the Christian County Coroner’s Office, 73-year-old Yahshua Muhammad was found deceased in bed.
Authorities say no signs of trauma or assault were found, but the death is still under investigation by Kentucky State Police.
Muhammad was in jail on charges of assault of a police officer, wanton endangerment, resisting arrest, and terroristic threatening from an incident on August 3rd of 2023.
