A man was charged with burglary and public intoxication after he was reportedly found inside of a garage on North Kentucky Avenue in Hopkinsville Thursday morning.
Hopkinsville Police say when they arrived 49-year-old Joseph Tidwell was found in a garage and on a scooter that did not belong to him.
He reportedly tensed up when officers tried to remove him from the garage and started swinging his arms around. Police say they had to use a taser before they were able to take him into custody.
He was arrested and charged with third-degree burglary, public intoxication, and resisting arrest.
