A man and woman were arrested on burglary charges in Caldwell County Monday evening.
Sheriff Don Weedman reported that deputies were sent to the 9000 block of Cadiz Road at 5:20 p.m. to investigate a burglary in progress, where they discovered 35–year–old Rexford Music of Cadiz and 27–year–old Andrea Brown of Swamp Branch.
He says an investigation by Deputy Kenneth Vincent resulted in Music being charged with third–degree burglary and Brown was charged with third–degree burglary complicity. Both subjects were taken into custody and lodged in the Caldwell County Jail.
Sheriff Weedman says they are actively investigating the burglary in the county’s south end and they are asking for your assistance.
The Caldwell County Sheriff’s Office asks residents to check cameras for any suspicious activity or unknown person; look through their outdoor buildings, garages, and sheds to see if they have missing items; and report suspicious activity or missing items.
Although the suspects are in custody, Sheriff Weedman says if you discover any missing property or have camera footage, call the Caldwell County Sheriff’s office at 270-365-2088. He indicates phones are answered 24/7.
