Trigg County High School had a strong showing Saturday at the District 4 Governors Cup competition.
The Academic Team coached by Andrea Dunn and Connie Herndon took first place overall.
The future-solving problem team of Mabry Alexander, Sydney Bryant, Rhett Plymale, and Sadie Utter finished in first place.
In arts and humanities, Mabry Alexander finished in first place and Sydney Bryant was third.
In composition, Makenna Potts finished in first place. Kerra Johnson was third and Alesha Nyakeraka was fourth. Nyakeraka also finished third in math.
In science, Hannah Williams finished in first place and Sadie Utter was second.
In social studies, Rhett Plymale finished in second place and Piper Mackey finished in 5th place.
In language arts, Elizabeth Redd finished in fourth place.
