Three Christian County Public School students were among the 12 winners in the Kentucky Transportation Cabinet’s 2022 Adopt-A-Highway Art Contest, in which young Kentuckians play an active role in promoting a clean environment.

The students represented 10 schools and one home school and their works of art were selected from nearly 300 entries from across the state. The entrants ranged in age from 5 to 18.

Evan Paige of Christian County High School took first place in the 15-18 age group, while fellow Christian County High classmate Seline Crews was third.

Hopkinsville Middle School student Destinee Miller finished second in the 12-14 age group.

Paige will receive a $100 gift card, while Crews and Miller will each receive a $50 gift card. All three will also have their pieces displayed at the Transportation Cabinet Office Building in Frankfort.
