Bank of Cadiz & Trust Company officials announced Thursday the addition of a new director to their board: Murray native Howard Boone.
Effective December 21, Boone is a proud graduate of Murray High School and Murray State University, where he earned his Bachelor of Science through business administration in 1985.
He brings more than 35 years of business ownership experience to the board, having retired from Boone Cleaners and Boone Inc. in Murray.
A past recipient of Murray/Calloway County Chamber of Commerce’s prestigious “Citizen of the Year” award, Boone Cleaners also earned a nod as “Small Business of the Year” under his tenure. Boone has many years of past board and membership experience, and has shown commitment to community and a willingness to be involved.
