A woman reported her vehicle stolen after stopping to help a man involved in a wreck on Interstate 24 in Oak Grove Wednesday night.
Christian County Sheriff’s deputies say a woman stopped after a car ran off the road just before the eastbound exit for Pembroke Oak Grove Road. The male driver of the car then reportedly pulled the woman out of her black 2015 Toyota Camry and fled toward Tennessee.
Deputies say two people were in the vehicle that had wrecked out with the suspect but they were not injured in the crash and remained with the vehicle. Law enforcement is still investigating.
