Kentucky Agriculture Receipts Set A New Record In 2021

Agriculture receipts from the sale of all Kentucky agricultural commodities set a new record in 2021, outdistancing the previous record set in 2014.

The National Agriculture Statistics Service released the latest information for 2021 on September 1. Eastern Mountain Region Director Dave Knopf says receipts took a big jump from 2020’s cash receipts of $5.2 billion.

Knopf says there were four commodities that topped the list.
