The Western Kentucky State Fair returns Friday for its 70th anniversary.
Tony Meacham with the fair board says many fan favorites will be returning, such as the pageants and the demolition derby.
click to download audioThe infant, baby, and tiny tots pageants will be Saturday morning, while the Mrs. Western Kentucky State Fair Pageant will be at 5 pm. The Miss pageant will follow at 7:30.
Youth pageants will continue on Sunday afternoon for ages 3 to 15, and the Ms. Plus Pageant will be on Monday, June 27 at 7 pm.
The demolition derby will be Saturday night at 6.
Meacham says Military and First Responders Day will return as well.

Meacham adds the fair has also added another monster truck for its show on Monday the 27th.
