More showers and storms will be likely across Kentucky this afternoon. A few storms could be strong and contain heavy rain and lightning. Scattered thunderstorm activity will continue through Wednesday ahead of a cold front. Can`t rule out some strong to severe storms Wednesday afternoon and evening with locally gusty winds and small hail. On Thursday, weak high pressure will move east into the region, bringing abundant sunshine. Highs will be in the lower 80s with low humidity and light north winds. Rain and storms quickly return Friday and come to an end Friday night. Right now it is looking like Saturday will be dry and pleasant with tranquil weather through the weekend.

A Thought: Sometimes it’s better to keep silent than tell others around you just how you feel. Because you know in your heart that even though they can hear your words…they cannot understand. Be kind and polite to everyone, even those that are unkind and rude to you, Not because they are nice but because you are, and it is the right thing to do. By the way, tried to do a little mowing this morning but my mowing adventures have come to a halt…last week a snake crawled across my foot and today I swallowed a bug….gagged for about fifteen minutes. I am so ready for fall already. They say make the most of life, you only live once. Thank God for that! I’m not coming back and doing this again!
