Names Released In South McPherson Street Wreck

Police have released the names of three people injured in a wreck on South McPherson Street in Hopkinsville Wednesday morning.

Hopkinsville Police say a westbound car driven by 17-year-old Keahrie Williams of Hopkinsville was on West 2nd Street when she pulled into the path of a northbound car on South McPherson Street driven by 29-year-old Lisa Woods of Hopkinsville.

The crash pushed Williams’s car into a utility pole and an SUV at the intersection. Police say the driver of the SUV checked his vehicle after the crash and then drove off.

Williams and two passengers in her car 15-year-old Princess Whitlock and 16-year-old George Sanders both of Hopkinsville were taken by ambulance to Jennie Stuart Medical Center for injuries.

Woods was also checked out by EMS at the scene. The crash happened just after 11 am.
