In celebration of Women’s History Month, the Hopkinsville-Christian County Public Library is having a month-long scavenger hunt open to people of all ages.

According to information from the library, people can work individually or in groups and can earn points in two different ways.

Participants take a selfie with their heroine or answer trivia questions about women, that were either born or settled in Christian County. Each photo and correct trivia question earn points toward prizes. People can choose to do one or both parts of the scavenger hunt.

James Overton, the adult services librarian, said the scavenger hunt is the perfect opportunity to give the women in history a chance to get the appreciation they deserve.

Family Scavenger Hunt Information and Clue Packets can be picked up at the front desk of the library during regular business hours Monday through Saturday.

The event will continue through the end of March.
