Four more people have filed to run for Hopkinsville City Council this week with all 12 wards now having at least one candidate for the May 17 primary election.
Democrat Jose Quinonez and incumbent Republican Jason Bell filed this week and as of Friday are the only two candidates in the race.
Democrat Vance Smith became the first candidate to run for the Ward 1 seat.
Meanwhile, Republican Robert Terry Meek is the first person to file for the Ward 8 city council seat.
