Area legislators say they were pleased with quick action by the Kentucky General Assembly to approve tornado relief for those who lost their homes and businesses in Western Kentucky December 10 and 11.
Third District State Senator Whitney Westerfield says the legislation goes into effect immediately to provide some much-needed assistance.
