Governor And Coach Cal Bring Shoes To Tornado Survivors

Governor Andy Beshear and University of Kentucky Basketball Coach John Calipari delivered shoes and a message of hope to tornado survivors at Lake Barkley and Pennyrile State Resort Parks Sunday morning.

After returning from Las Vegas early Sunday morning, Coach Cal joined Governor Andy Beshear, Lt. Governor Jaquelyn Coleman, and some UK championship basketball players to deliver shoes to tornado victims staying at both state parks.

They spent most of an hour at Lake Barkley visiting with tornado survivors, presenting with shoes, and listening to their stories before traveling to Pennyrile State Park.
