Four fatalities have been confirmed after a possible tornado touched down in northern Caldwell County Friday night.
Caldwell County Coroner Dewayne Trafford says he started receiving reports of fatalities on Dawson Road after the storms moved through the area.
He says it’s too early to determine if there are more fatalities.
Trafford said when he saw the devastation it was unbelievable.
There were also several injuries reported in the county and the city, with Mayor Kota Young reporting there were no fatalities in Princeton.
The National Weather Service is surveying all storm damage across western Kentucky and will be assessing Caldwell County in the coming days.
