A home on South Kentucky Avenue in Hopkinsville was damaged in a fire Monday morning.
Hopkinsville Fire Department Captain Andrew Watts says a small fire inside the home was quickly extinguished when they arrived but the electricity had to be turned off to the home.
The woman who was moving into the home will be displaced due to the damage.
Firefighters were called to the home located at 120 1/2 just before 11 am.
