Westbound traffic on Interstate 24 was restricted to one lane in southern Lyon County for about three hours early Friday morning due to a truck fire.
District 1 spokesman Keith Todd with the Kentucky Transportation Cabinet says the truck fire occurred around 4:00 Friday morning near the Eddyville-Princeton KY 293 Exit 45 interchange.
According to Todd, the truck was hauling paper products and required extensive cleanup efforts at the site.
Todd says the westbound lane reopened to normal traffic flow around 7:15.
There were no injuries reported.
