PDHD Confirms 11 New COVID-19 Cases In Trigg County

The Pennyrile District Health Department reports that Trigg County had 11 new confirmed cases of COVID-19 diagnosed Thursday — bringing its total number of cases to 2,393 since the pandemic began in March of 2020.

The median age of the new cases is 17 years old, with a 2-year-old male, a 3-year-old female, a 4-year-old female, a 5-year-old male, a 6-year-old male, a 7-year-old female and an 8-year-old male among the 11.

All 11 cases are currently recovering at home.

The health department also reports 70 other cases were recovering at home prior to Wednesday, while three remained hospitalized receiving treatment.

Since March 2020, 23 deaths in Trigg County have been attributable to COVID-19. More than 2,200 cases have recovered.
