A second Republican has filed to run for Christian County Clerk with long-time election coordinator Melinda Humphries making the short trip to file for the office Wednesday.
Humphries and former county clerk employee Erica Newby have filed to run in the Republican primary with county treasurer Walter Cummings running as a Democrat.
