National Weather Service Says Overnight Threat Of Severe Weather

The National Weather Service in Paducah says there is threat of severe weather early Monday morning as a cold front pushes into the region.

Forecasters say thunderstorms are expected to push into the region late Sunday night and early Monday morning as the strong cold front moves in from the west. Strong to severe storms are possible across Western Kentucky early Monday morning. The storms could produce damaging winds, isolated tornadoes and large hail. Forecasters are also expecting heavy rain to accompany the storms, which could result in some isolated flooding.
