A Hopkinsville woman was arrested on a warrant for shoplifting Saturday afternoon.
Hopkinsville Police say 47-year-old Yvette Simpson took $1,032 worth of merchandise from Walmart on Clinic Drive in four separate incidents.
Law enforcement reportedly stopped her for a separate incident on September 23rd and found that she had been taking the merchandise from the store. The warrant accuses her of stealing from the store on at least three other occasions.
Simpson is charged with theft by unlawful taking.
