Man And Woman Charged With Meth Trafficking

A man and woman were charged with trafficking drugs after an investigation in Cadiz Sunday afternoon.

Cadiz Police say they stopped to help 41-year-old Ross Herrin of Cedar Lake, Indiana, and 42-year-old Jacquelyne Puma of Hopkinsville after noticing them in a parking lot on Jefferson Street at Brown Street with the vehicle hood open.

Police say the pair was found to have active warrants and, after a search of their belongings, 14.5 pounds of meth were discovered.

They were both arrested and charged with trafficking meth and possession of drug paraphernalia. Puma was also charged with possession of marijuana.
