Christian County Fiscal Court Taking Sealed Bids For 2008 Dodge Durango

With no surplus auction on the schedule, the Christian County Fiscal Court will soon be taking sealed bids for a black 2008 Dodge Durango from its coroner’s office.

District 3 Magistrate Mark Cansler made the motion, noting it was time to “clear the lot.”

With the bid acceptance set to be advertised in the Kentucky New Era, it’s the second such Durango to be moved in as many years, as a similar 2008 model was moved to surplus and sold at auction in 2019.

District 7 Magistrate Jerry Gilliam asked if there was a considerable register keeping track of the county’s fleet — that’s not Christian County Road Department related. It was noted an insurance schedule has the full and accurate record.
