A wreck on East 9th Street in Hopkinsville sent two people to the hospital Saturday afternoon.
Hopkinsville Police say a car was turning onto East 9th Street from College Street and struck a car that was eastbound on East 9th Street. Two passengers in the car on East 9th Street were taken to Jennie Stuart Medical Center by ambulance for possible injuries.
The driver of the car on College Street reportedly fled the area before police arrived.
The crash happened just after 3 p.m.
