Trooper Cameron Ponder Memorialized With Street Naming

Kentucky State Police and other officials memorialized Kentucky State Trooper Cameron Ponder by naming a street in Elizabethtown after him Monday.

According to a social media post from family members of Trooper Ponder Kentucky State Police joined with officials from Elizabethtown and local law enforcement officials to unveil a sign renaming the road leading to Kentucky State Police Post 4 “Cameron Ponder Drive”.

A memorial service was held later Monday along Interstate 24 in Lyon County near the 49-mile marker where Trooper Ponder was fatally shot September 13, 2015.
