Woman Charged After Todd County Pursuit

A Michigan woman was charged after she reportedly led law enforcement on a pursuit in Todd County Thursday night.

Kentucky State Police say they were conducting a safety checkpoint on US 79 when 45-year-old Cindy Ngo failed to stop and led them on a pursuit for 9 miles.

She reportedly lost control in a curve causing her vehicle to overturn. Police say Ngo had to be extricated from her vehicle and transported to Logan County Hospital where she was treated for minor injuries.

She was also found to have a warrant in connection to an incident where she fled from Sumner County, Tennessee, law enforcement earlier in the day.

Ngo is charged with DUI, first-degree fleeing or evading police, first-degree wanton endangerment and she was also cited for traffic offenses.
