Apartment Building Badly Damaged In Oak Grove Fire (w/Video)

A fire on Mandarin Drive damaged a building and displaced residents  in several apartments Monday morning.

Oak Grove Firefighters say a grease fire in the kitchen of one of the apartments filled the building with smoke and badly damage one apartment.

Oak Grove Police were able to get everyone and their pets out safely before firefighters arrived. An ambulance was called to check out a woman that lived in the building but she was not transported to the hospital.

Everyone in apartments 177, 179, 169, 171, 173, 175, 162, and 167 were all displaced due to the damage. The American Red Cross has been contacted to help everyone that was displaced.

Firefighters were called just before 3 am. Oak Grove Fire Department was assisted by Pembroke and Fort Campbell firefighters.
