Despite numerous false Facebook and other social media posts, Kentucky’s mask mandate is still in effect.
During his Thursday afternoon COVID-19 news conference, Governor Andy Beshear said the misinformation had been shared a lot over the last week.
Beshear encouraged people to get their news from trusted media sources and not from people on social media with a specific agenda.
The state’s mask mandate remains effective until 5:00 p.m. Wednesday, April 28.
