A Christian County Middle School teacher recently received a grant to help a program she has created.
According to Christian County Public Schools, the Tennessee Valley Authority and Hopkinsville Electric System presented Amanda Huff a check for $5,000. Huff is a science teacher and was awarded the TVA Science Technology Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) grant for her program ‘Engineering Energy in 7th Grade Science.’
She was one of nine STEM grant recipients in Kentucky.
