The National Weather Service in Paducah is hosting a Spring Severe Weather Campaign to remind residents to be prepared for the upcoming weather season.
During a Facebook Live event Monday night, NWS Warning Coordination Meteorologist Rick Shanklin said the springtime is typically one of the busiest times for severe weather.
A big part of the campaign week is posting severe weather safety tips on the NWS Paducah Facebook and Twitter pages.
