Comer Frustrated With COVID Vaccine Distribution In Kentucky

First District Congressman James Comer says some members of the House of Representatives in Washington D.C. have reached out to Governor Andy Beshear and expressed their frustration with the COVID-19 vaccination distribution in rural areas of Kentucky.

According to Comer, there are several Congressional Districts in western and eastern Kentucky where the COVID-19 vaccine has not been distributed. He says the Trump administration set up the COVID-19 vaccine distribution plan where it would be administered by the states; however, he points out those who live in the cities are getting vaccinated quicker than those who live in rural areas.

Comer also says some counties have executed the vaccination distribution plan better than others, but he adds it’s going to take a long time to get everyone vaccinated in the commonwealth.
