Trigg County Intermediate School was the recent recipient of a donation from Walmart Transportation.
School officials report a $2,000 check was presented to them from the ‘Miles for Education’ safety program. The program pays 15-cents a mile up to $2,000 for every safe mile driven and the funds are donated to a local school.
Rebecca Noel, a school parent and Transportation Manager with Walmart Transportation, nominated the school to receive the donation.
