Trigg County Schools Board Chair Named To Prichard Committee

Trigg County Public Schools Board Chair Jo Alyce Harper has been selected to serve on the Prichard Committee for Academic Excellence in Kentucky.

The Kentucky School Boards Association says the Prichard Committee for Academic Excellence is an independent, nonpartisan, citizen-led organization working to improve education across the Commonwealth. The work helps children in all education stages to provide a better quality of life.

Trigg County Schools Superintendent Bill Thorpe says they are excited about Harper’s selection to the committee. He adds she is passionate about Trigg County Schools and its students, and he knows she will represent the Commonwealth well.

Harper has served as a Trigg County Public Schools board member since 2008.
