Two Elkton Men Charged With Trafficking Drugs

Two Elkton men were arrested after a three-week-long investigation led authorities to get search warrants for their homes Wednesday night.

The Pennyrile Narcotics Task Force says the investigation started with surveillance on 59-year-old Albert Toner and 43-year-old Daniel Bell.

Authorities say they were able to get a search warrant for Toner’s residence on Wilson Toner Road and found 15 ounces of meth, 6 ounces of marijuana, cocaine, three guns, and $2,400 in cash.

Shortly after conducting the first search warrant, authorities say they went to Bell’s home on Duke Street and found 2 ounces of marijuana, a meth pipe, and two syringes.

Inside both homes, bags, and digital scales were reportedly found. Both men are charged with trafficking marijuana, meth, and cocaine.

Bell was also charged with tampering with physical evidence and Toner was charged with possession of a firearm by a convicted felon.

The investigation included authorities from the Pennyrile Narcotics Task Force, Todd County Sheriff’s Office, and the Elkton Police Department.
