The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet has closed a portion of Kentucky 778/Will Jackson Road in Trigg County.
The road is closed between the two intersections with Iron Street. Keith Todd, spokesman for District One, said the closure would facilitate replacing a cross drain.
Todd added the positioning of equipment would require the roadway to be closed from approximately 8:00 a.m. to about 2:30 p.m., Thursday and Friday.
A marked detour has been set up along Iron Street to bypass the work zone.
