Christian County Schools Approve New Vision And Mission Statements

The Christian County Board of Education approved new vision and mission statements, as well as a new logo during Thursday night’s meeting.

Kadi Ralston, Secondary Instructional Supervisor for the district, said when they started, various logos were being used, making branding difficult.

Ralston added several surveys were sent out to get input from students, teachers, and community members behind the decisions made.

She also shared the district’s new mission statement.

After the vision and mission statements were created, the group worked with Williams Advertising to develop a new logo and other items used in official letters and the district’s website and social media pages.

Sarah Whitaker, co-owner of Williams Advertising, told board members consistency with branding is important, even for the school district.

The new logo and other branding items will be replaced across the district and community, with a full roll-out expected this summer.

Ralston added they would be working with each school to help align their mission statements with the district’s new one.

Board members also approved a clean audit for the 2019-2020 fiscal year, presented by Anna Herr of Duguid, Gentry & Associates.
