Two Injured In Parkway Rollover Crash After Trying To Avoid Deer

A single vehicle crash on the Pennyrile Parkway sent a man and woman to the hospital Wednesday night.

Christian County Sheriff’s deputies say a car was northbound when the driver swerved to miss a deer, causing the car to go into the median. The car overturned tossing large rocks into the southbound lanes of traffic. Two other vehicles hit the rocks causing damage. The driver and passenger in the car were taken by private vehicle to the hospital for what deputies say are non-life-threatening injuries.

The crash happened four miles north of the Crofton exit just after 7 pm.
