The Trigg County Middle School Academic Team placed first in the fifth district tournament over the weekend.
The news was shared by social media posts from parents of students who are a part of the team.
Many students from Trigg County placed in various test areas and the school was even awarded the Sportsmanship award.
High school teacher Christina Ethridge leads the team.
