Apartment Door Found Damaged By Shotgun Blast

Hopkinsville Police are investigating an incident in which a door had been damaged by a shotgun blast in an apparent burglary on Koffman Drive Saturday morning.

Hopkinsville Police say they were called to the area around 2 am for a report of shots fired and found a spent 12 gauge shotgun shell and a damaged door to an apartment. Police say after talking with the owner of the apartment it was found to have been a burglary.

No arrest has been made but the report lists the charge as first-degree burglary.
