Shoplifting Suspect Allegedly Threatens Store Employee

A Cadiz woman faces multiple charges after she allegedly threatened a Walmart employee when being questioned about alleged shoplifting Friday morning.

Hopkinsville Police say 39-year-old Crystal Allen was approached by an employee of the store after she took shoes, two hoodies, and jogger pants without paying for them. Allen reportedly threatened to use physical force against the employee and fled in a vehicle.
Police say she was located shortly after in her vehicle. As she was being transported to jail she reportedly told officers she had meth in her bra and more narcotics in her pants.
Allen is charged with second-degree robbery, tampering with physical evidence, possession of meth, and possession of a controlled substance.
