Kentucky Reports Over 3,000 COVID-19 Cases Tuesday

Kentucky reported a slightly higher number of new cases Tuesday afternoon compared to last week.

According to state data, 3,057 new cases were confirmed, about 160 less than last Tuesday. The state also confirmed 28 new deaths, including a 54-year-old woman from Todd County; a 67-year-old man from Hopkins County; and two women, ages 91 and 94, from Calloway County.

The state’s positivity rate now sits at 8.48-percent.
