Five CCPS Students Named to KMEA All-State Bands

Five Christian County Public Schools students were selected to the 2020 Kentucky Music Educators Association All-State Bands.

Representing Christian County High School in All-State Concert Band are:

Austin Wright, 1^st Chair, Euphonium

Levi Mitchell, 4^th Chair, Trombone

Joseph Anderson, 4^th Chair, Snare in All-State Symphonic Band.

 

Representing Hopkinsville High School in the All-State Symphonic Band are:

Jared Chance Martin, 1^st Chair, Euphonium

Nicholas Laramee, 5^th Chair, Trombone.

CCHS Director of Bands Anthony Darnall and HHS Director of Bands Grant Jones said this is one of the highest individual honors a high school musician can earn. They added they are proud of all of the students who auditioned and put in countless hours of hard work and preparation.
