The Barkley Water District says a boil water advisory is in effect for some customers north of Cadiz along KY 139, the Princeton Road.
Superintendent John Herring says the boil water advisory affects customers along 139 starting at and including Muddy Fork Lane. The advisory ends and does not include Reddick Pond Road. Side Streets impacted include Stone Road and Adams Mill Road and extends to, but does not include P’Pool Road.
Herring says customers in that area should follow rules bringing drinking water to a boil until the advisory is lifted. The advisory was issued following a water main break on the Barkley Water line in the area.
